Conciliation Board meeting: positions of factions and groups

Factions and groups reports in order of given floor to their representatives:

People’s Front faction spoke about Kyiv Security Forum 2018, membership in NATO, security and defense, supported the Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov regarding increasing responsibility for the conduct of the elections, effective use of state-owned enterprises.

Petro Poroshenko Bloc (BPP) faction thanked for bill on diplomatic service, informed about last sanctions against the Russian Federation, urged to pass bills: bill No. 8157 on the National Bureau of Financial Security, bills on household waste problem, consider the appointment judges to the Constitutional Court, new members of the Central Election Commission (CEC) (on Thursday’s morning), a candidate to the Audit Committee in the activities of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU). Asked to adopt bill No. 7466 on proprietary rights of copyright and related rights holders and other bills on proprietary rights and organ transplantation.

“Samopomich” Union faction raised the issue of infrastructure problems, tax on withdrawn capital, the State Financial Monitoring Service of Ukraine, Ukrainian IT companies, support to victims of the Chornobyl accident.

Batkivshchyna faction noted that the budget resolution should be presented by April 1, which was not done, draw attention to the crisis in the field of nuclear energy, external debt, was against the bill on pension funds.

Opposition Bloc faction mentioned the importance of a short truce in the East, support to victims of the Chornobyl accident, support of internally displaced persons (IDPs), asked to pass bill No. 8116 on the grounds for the expertize, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy’s bill on election, was against the proposed members to CEC, as there are no opposition’s candidates.

Radical Party faction stressed on the village’s issues, need for changes to the Constitution regarding introduction farming as a basis of the agrarian system, ban of palm oil, support to victims of the Chornobyl accident, an increase of salaries and labor shortage.  

Vidrodzhennia ("Renaissance") parliamentary group said there is no national goal of improving the conditions for industry, raised the importance of support to victims of the Chornobyl accident.

Volia Narodu (“Will of the People”) parliamentary group raised the issue on Russian activities in Syria comparing with the case of Ukraine, stressed importance of Ukrainian national unity, reported on administrative services and abuse of authority by registrars, representatives of local self-government, underlined need of support to victims of the Chornobyl accident.
