MPs fail to strip immunity from Opposition bloc MP Serhiy Dunayev

Verkhovna Rada failed to remove parliamentary privilege from Opposition Bloc faction MP Serhiy Dunayev, only 125 MPs voted to give parliamentary consent to the General Prosecutor's Office to conduct investigations.
Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko informed about the situation with other cases connected with immunity deprivation from MPs. Lutsenko noted that investigation on attacks on activists is still in process. Removing parliamentary privilege from Dunayev, according to Lutsenko, allows to start an investigation and make sure that he broke the rule of law, which is not confirmed yet. Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy condemned a failed attempt of stripping immunity from Dunayev.
