Elections were announced in the 87th constituency, as the MP from this constituency, from the “Servant of the People” faction, Zinovii Andriiovych, had previously been elected mayor of the Nadvirna (Ivano-Frankivsk oblast).

According to exit polls, Oleksandr Shevchenko, a representative of “For the Future” party, is leading. The second place is taken by the representative of the All-Ukrainian Union “Svoboda” Ruslan Koshulynskyi, and the third place is taken by the representative of the “Servant of the People” party Vasyl Virastyuk.

At the same time, “Servant of the People” party and the “For the Future” party have already announced the victory of their candidates (the difference in votes will be quite small).

In the 50th constituency, the new elections were held due to the election of Ruslan Trebushkin, a non-affiliated MP, as the mayor of Pokrovsk (Donetsk oblast). According to the exit poll, the mayor of Dobropillya Andriy Aksionov, who ran for the “Order” party, is leading by a large margin.

According to media reports and public activists, Mr. Aksionov participated in the organization of a so-called referendum in 2014 to legitimize the Russian occupation, and also voluntarily obtained Russian citizenship.

The special elections took place on March 28.
