Two factions: Samopomich and Radical Party requested a break, which they were ready to replace by a speech of Radical Party leader and parliamentary Deputy Oleр Lyashko. He asked the Speaker from the rostrum to put in today’s agenda the Draft Resolution No. 3119 on amending the Resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "On the election of the heads, first deputies, deputy chairmen, secretaries, members of the committees of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the eighth convocation and the election of the chairman, first deputy, deputy chairman, secretary and members of the Special Control Commission of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on privatization issues".

The reason, as said Lyashko, is that MPs from the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko faction spread rumors that Serhiy Rybalka, MP from Radical Party, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on financial policy and banking wants to keep his post of the Committee Chairman because he is afraid that his unlawful actions in the past when he had his business will become well known. Oleg Lyashko stressed that all MPs from his faction shall meet high standards of party discipline and Serhiy Rybalka really does this.

To show the support to his colleague he asked the Speaker to consider the Draft Resolution No. 3119 and to make the decision if Serhiy Rybalka should keep his post. MPs supported the idea to consider this Resolution today. After that Speaker proposed to consider now the Draft Law No. 7126 on amendments to certain laws of Ukraine concerning certain issues of civil service. However, this proposition didn’t meet the support among MPs. There were 3 failed attempts to pass it.

Then the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy announced 30-minute break till 11.10 a.m. at the request of the parliamentary group Vidrodzhennya (Renaissance) and the Faction of the Political party People’s Front. However, at 11.21 a.m. Andriy Parubiy came to the hall and said that there will be one more 30-minute break and after that will be a 30-minute break as prescribed by the regulations. So he asks MPs to come to the hall at 12.30 p.m. The reason for this pause during the morning sitting Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy explained: “The biggest faction is absent in the hall”.
