USAID’s RADA Program jointly with the Association of MPs of Ukraine organized a discussion on the topic "Ways of overcoming legislative spam" on September 26. Representatives of the Verkhovna Rada Secretariat said that the e-tools such as E-Petitions and the platform Portal of Public Discussions of Draft Laws, developed within the RADA Program, help them to improve work on legislation. MPs, representatives of international and civil society organizations, which have a direct impact on the adoption of laws, discussed one of the key problems of the legislative process and the ways of its ceasing. Participants agreed to work on introducing restrictions on the number of bills that MPs may submit.
