USAID RADA Program, the Center for Policy and Legal Reform, the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance (International IDEA), and Venice Commission of the Council of Europe with the support from the European Union organized the international round-table “Parliamentary immunity and indemnity. Amendments to the Constitution”. Approximately 100 participants MPs, experts, representatives of the Judicial Department of the Ukrainian parliament and civil society representatives participated in the event. The discussion feeds constitutional amendments design process that would limit the MP immunity but ensure their political independence and protection from political pressure.
