Question Hour: Minister of Justice reports on protection of the child rights

Every Friday, the first hour of work in Ukrainian Parliament is dedicated to MPs asking questions to the Prime Minister and government ministers. There are 344 MPs registered in the Parliament today. Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman was present at the session hall.

Parubiy passed the floor to Pavlo Petrenko, Ukraine's Minister of Justice, who made a presentation on 3 draft laws intended to protect children’s rights.

MPs adopt the Bill on diplomatic service, the Decree to fire Finance Minister

MPs pass the Bill № 7322 on dilpomatic service in the final reading with 226 votes and adopt the Decree  №8433, filed by Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, to fire Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyuliuk with 254 votes.

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy passed a floor to the Minister of Finance Oleksandr Danyliuk, who reported on his job.

MPs appoint an auditor from the Verkhovna Rada to the commission on the efficiency of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine

Parubiy announced the consideration of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine representative for the commission of external control over the audit on the efficiency of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine.

MPs pass the Bill on the creation of the Anti-Corruption Court

MPs passed the Bill on the Bill No. 7440 on the creation of the Anti-Corruption Court with 315 votes in the second and final reading.

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy passed the floor to the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.

“I want to emphasize the firmness of the authorities in combating corruption,” said Poroshenko. He thanked MPs for the present (passing the Bill) on the fourth anniversary of Poroshenko’s ruling.  

 

Positions of factions and groups on the Bill on the creation of the Anti-Corruption Court

Verkhovna Rada Chairman Andriy Parubiy called leaders of factions to express opinion from the rostrum on the Bill No. 7440 on the creation of the Anti-Corruption Court.

Parubiy said that the conclusion of the Committee on Legislative Support of Law Enforcement to which amendments it proposes to return is printing. MPs will have an opportunity to get acquainted with it.
