Friday Morning after 349 MPs registered started not from the Government Hour as usual but from consideration of bills #7163 on the peculiarities of the state policy on ensuring state sovereignty of Ukraine over temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts.

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy closed the evening sitting of the Parliament after the break announced during consideration of bills #7163, #7163-1 and #7163-2 on the peculiarities of the state policy on ensuring state sovereignty of Ukraine over temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts. He said: “At the meeting with faction leaders we agreed that bill #7163 contradictory items that refer to Minsk agreements will be deleted. It should open this bill consideration.

VR passes judicial reform

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed bill No. 6232 on judicial reform in the second and final readings. A total of 234 MPs voted in favor for this bill. The consideration of the judicial reform lasted 3 plenary weeks. “It is the longest bill consideration in the history of Ukraine” – emphasized Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy.

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy at the Conciliation Board of leaders of factions and deputy groups and chairmen of the parliamentary committees indicated that the agenda of the last session week will be actually postponed to the current week. “We will work on bill No. 6232 regarding judicial reform. More than 500 almost 600 amendments and proposals are left to consider. The pension reform, bills on defense and security and medical reform are in this week agenda.
