On April 12, the first meeting of the working group on the creation of a parliamentary educational center took place. It was chaired by Andriy Parubiy, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.

Development of the Center is one of the key activities of the USAID RADA Program.

Officials of the USAID RADA Program and Department of relations with local authorities and local self-government bodies of the VR Secretariat had a working meeting in the framework of the “Model district”. They discussed issues related to improvement of members of the Parliament and voters.

On the part of the Program, its director Igor Kogut, deputy director Tetiana Bibik, electronic parliament expert Sergii Cherednichenko, and the manфger of the Model district project Lesia Nechyporenko took part in the event.

On January 30, 2019USAID RADA Program conducted regular International Parliamentary Technical Assistance Coordination Meeting (IPTAC) aimed at fostering coordination and cooperation between Verkhovna Rada and technical assistance projects implemented by international donors community.

More than 50 representatives of technical assistance projects supported by the EU, GIZ, USAID, Westminster Foundation for Democracy, MPs and their aids, representatives of the VR` Secretariat participated in the event.
